A weekend full of GP and Nations Cup winners

The Dutch team won the EEF Nations Cup in Mannheim last weekend, thanks in part to clear rounds by Minute Man (ex-O'Neill van ‘t Eigenlo, s. Vigo d'Arsouilles - Willem Greve), Flying Jackie (s. Nabab de Rêve - Kevin Jochems) and Foxpit Grim (s. Vigo d'Arsouilles - Frank Schuttert). Also in Mannheim, Kevin Jochems won a 1.50m class in the saddle of Kivinia (s. I'm Special de Muze). In the GP, Sophie Hinners and Special Life (v. I'm Special de Muze) finished seventh.

Canteleu

Vida Loca Z (s. Vigo d'Arsouilles) and Kevin Staut took victory in the GP4* of Canteleu. In the same class, Jos Verlooy finished fourth on Origi (s. Vigo d'Arsouilles), Romain Duguet sixth on Hunger Games du Champ du Bois (s. Elvis Ter Putte) and Constant Van Paesschen eighth on Plato de Muze Z (s. Plot Blue). There was also a third place for Romain Duguet and Hunger Games du Champ du Bois earlier in a 1.50m class. Lord de Muze (s. Nabab de Rêve), half-brother of Lector and Fantomas, among others, won a 1.50m class with Mathieu Billot in the saddle.

In the two-star classes, Nicolas Layec rushed to second place in the GP riding Fee de Caryan (s. Vigo d'Arsouilles). Melanie Cloarec and Nora de Mariposa (s. Elvis Ter Putte) came third in a 1.40m class.

Montefalco

In the GP4* of Montefalco, there was no match for Pedro Veniss and Nimrod de Muze Z (s. Nabab de Rêve). Giacomo Casadei took third place riding Marbella du Chabli (s. Elvis Ter Putte). Emiliano Liberati and Aruba Island (s. Vigo d'Arsouilles) came eighth. Ismael Garcia Roque and Brazilia DK (s. Cera d'Ick) finished fifth in a ranking class.

Drammen

The GP2* in Drammen, Norway, was right up Johan-Sebastian Gulliksen's alley with Lolita ES (s. Mosito van het Hellehof), a product of Mosito's first crop. O'Vigolon van het Weidse Hof (s. Vigo d'Arsouilles) was the best in a 1.40m class under Amalie Hegre.

Opglabbeek

Zoe Conter and Enrico de la Pomme (s. Vigo d'Arsouilles) finished sixth in the GP3* at Opglabbeek. For Robert Murphy and Hulde G (s. Vigo d'Arsouilles) there was a third place over 1.50m. In a 1.40m class, there was a win for Monks I Am Casall (s. I'm Special de Muze) under Graham Babes.

St. Tropez

Emilie Conter and Portobella van de Fruitkorf (s. Bamako de Muze) made their mark in St. Tropez, including a fourth place in the GP3* and a placing in a ranking class. Kalippo van de Wolfsakker (s. Denzel van ‘t Meulenhof) and Nicolas Delmotte won a 1.45m class.

In the two-star classes, Philippe Rozier grabbed third place in the GP riding Night Light van ‘t Ruytershof (s. Gemini xx). This duo also won a 1.45m class.

Other

Feromas van Beek Z (s. Fantomas de Muze) and Gilles Thomas came second in a 1.45m class at the GCT/GCL in Shanghai. In Ermelo, Kars Bonhof won a 1.40m class with Poker de Mariposa (s. Nabab de Rêve). There were also wins for Nicolas Deseuzes on Five Clairbois (s. Vigo d'Arsouilles, 1.45m) over 1.45m in Nancy and for Edouard Chauvet on Geisha d'Ines (s. Nabab de Rêve, 1.40m) in Barbaste. My Relander and I'm Aljana Special (s. I'm Special de Muze) grabbed second place in the GP2* of Boguslawice. Finally, in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, Jaime Azcarraga finished fourth in a 1.40m class on Elvanto PS (s. Elvis Ter Putte).
