Great performances in second leg of the PAVO Stallion Competition

Sentower Park

Opglabbeek’s Sentower Park was the décor for the second leg of the PAVO Stallion Competition and our stallion showed their class.

In the competition for four-year-olds, Perseus de Muze (f. By Cera d’Ick) realized his second clear round in a row with Walter Lelie. Besides that, two sons of Vigo d’Arsouilles also finished with a score of zero, as did a son of Nabab de Rêve. In the competition for five-year-olds, clear rounds were realized, among others, by sons of Fantomas de Muze, Vigo d’Arsouilles and Bamako de Muze.

The six-year-olds competed with each other in a jump-off and Navajo van ‘t Vianahof showed his true quality by finishing with a second double clear in a row. Furthermore, stallions descending from Elvis Ter Putte and Denzel van ‘t Meulenhof also cleared both courses without penalties. Finally, the victory in the class for seven-year-olds went to Mithras de Regor (v. Elvis Ter Putte), ridden by Guy Beyers.

Bordeaux

While most stallion were present in Opglabbeek, Karline took Lector van den Bisschop and Mosito van het Hellehof to Bordeaux for purposes of competing the stallion classes over there. That resulted in a sixth place with Lector in a class against the clock. Le Coultre de Muze and Philippe Rozier were also present in Bordeaux and grabbed a fifth and an eighth place.

Wellington

Fifth week of the Wellington Equestrian Festival also delivered a five star competition. In the final class, there was a second place for Darragh Kenny and Important de Muze (f. Erco van ‘t Roosakker). Fresh duo William Whitaker and RMF Cadeau de Muze (f. Nabab de Rêve) became eighth in the GP.

Kronenberg

Two top five placings in Kronenberg thanks to Gentiane de la Pomme (f. Shindler de Muze, Wilm Vermeir), who finished second and Dora de Ness (f. Nabab de Rêve, Lars Kersten), who ended fifth. In the classes for seven-year-olds, Geisha des Sequoïas (f. Bamako de Muze) and Odile Gierech stood out with twice a second place.

Lier

Beijing Z (f. Bamako de Muze) and Christof Deraedt became eighth in the GP of Lier (1.50m), after already having won a 1.40m-class earlier during the week. Just Energie (f. Nabab de Rêve) and Vincent Lambrecht on their turn, grabbed a fifth place at the same height.

In the classes for five- and six-year-old horses, the offspring of I’m Special de Muze came to the fore, thanks to I’m Specialized Z (Piet Raijmakers jr) and Nikias Ligie V.V. (Evelyne Van Vreckom). Also Elize Z (f. Elvis Ter Putte, Anke De Breucker), Emly (f. Golden Hawk, Jackilynn Breslin) and Iowenna (f. Denzel van ‘t Meulenhof, Helen Tredwell) showed their potential.

In Oliva-Valencia, we noted a second place in a 1.40m-class for Angie de Prissey (f. Nabab de Rêve) and Bernard Briand Chevalier. David Will and Lucinde de Rêve (f.
