Stunning victory for El Torreo

After a relatively quiet winter break, El Torreo de Muze is back in top shape. Last week he won a 1.45m class at the CSI2* in Opglabbeek under Bernardo Alves. In the same class, Koen Vereecke finished third riding Kasanova de la Pomme. With Vigo's Flip de Muze (s. Vigo d'Arsouilles), dam of Toetankhamon de Muze, Bernardo was good for second place in a 1.40m class.

In the GP, Louis Le Grelle jumped to second place riding New Life van het Hellehof (s. Elvis Ter Putte). Pascale Haep and Iashin Sitte (s. Bamako de Muze) came in tenth place. Joao Victor Castro and Odin van 't Merelsnest finished fourth in a 1.45m class and Carlos De La Malla took third place in a 1.40m class on Malbec de Brandegem (s. Nabab de Rêve).

GCT/GCL

Fasther (s. Vigo d'Arsouilles) showed to be in great shape at the GCT/GCL in Mexico City including a fourth place over 1.55m under Lillie Keenan. With Gilles Thomas, Feromas van Beek Z (s. Fantomas de Muze) finished fourth and fifth in two 1.50m classes. For Jane Richard and Fouègo de la Closière (s. Nabab de Rêve) there was a third place in the 1.40m.

Wellington

A tenth place was the result for Shane Sweetnam and Holliewood (s. Nabab de Rêve) in Wellington's GP3*. Ashley Vogel rushed to second place in a 1.45m class riding Bellissimo Z (s. Bamako de Muze).

Oliva

Nadja Peter Steiner and Harry KM (s. Scendro) added yet another victory to their record in a 1.40m class in Oliva. There was fifth place for Sara Vingralkova on Mega Special DC (s. I'm Special de Muze). In the 1.45m classes we recorded a fourth place for Pedro Veniss with Nimrod de Muze (s. Nabab de Rêve). Jérôme Guery and Juristo van het Hagenhof (s. Elvis Ter Putte) came third.

Gorla Minore

In Italian Gorla Minore, Thibault Philippaerts grabbed third prize money in a 1.50m class with our stallion Obama de la Linière (s. Marius Claudius). Thomas De Wit won a 1.40m class riding Ecuador DW Z (s. El Torreo de Muze). Pedro Grandi Backheuser and Vitago (s. Vigo d'Arsouilles) achieved fifth place over 1.40m.

Fontainebleau

In Fontainebleau, Leina Benkhraba jumped into the limelight by finishing third in a 1.40m class in the CSI4* competition on Geisha des Sequoias (s. Bamako de Muze). Zoe Tisseron and Phin Phin T II (s. Vigo d'Arsouilles) matched that performance in the CSI1*.

Chard

Katie Pytches and Newton DB (s. I'm Special de Muze) achieved a fine result in the GP2* in Chard (UK). They finished tenth with a double clear round. Moreover, there was a second place for James Wilson and Quality Time of Picobello Z (s. Querlybet Hero) in a 1.40m class.

Miscellaneous

A 1.50m class in Hagen produced a win for Sanne Thijssen and Hi There (s. Nabab de Rêve). At the youth competition in Stadl Paura, Austria, Joana Schildknecht won the GPU25 riding Napoleon C (s. Vigo d'Arsouilles). Finally, in Czech Zduchovice, also a youth competition, Vittoria Calabro snatched third place in the GP for Juniors on Eros Cityhorse Z (s. Elvis Ter Putte). This duo also finished second in a 1.40m class.
