Young stallions confirm their potential in the PAVO Stallion competition

PAVO Stallion competition

For the third week in a row, a leg of the PAVO Stallion competition took place and our stallions look like they are about to hit cruising speed just in time for the finals that are planned three weeks from now. Walter Lelie rode all our stallions.

In the competition for four-year-olds, Perseus de Muze (s. By Cera d’Ick) keeps confirming by realizing his fourth clear round in a row. Eames de Hus (s. Conrad de Hus) is gaining a lot of experience in the competition and keeps making progress, resulting in a first clear round in the classes for five-year-olds. No mistakes for Navajo van ‘t Vianahof (s. Vagabond de la Pomme) either in the competition for six-year-olds. Both Perseus and Navajo will begin the finals with a maximum score.

CSI Ghent

Zinius (s. Nabab de Rêve) proved to be back in shape at the Flanders Horse Expo in Ghent, winning the GP ridden by Harrie Smolders. Another son of Nabab, Konak, became eighth with Gilles Thomas. Our stallion I’m Special de Muze on his turn, finished third in a 1.45m-class with Zoï Snels.

Abu Dhabi

In Abu Dhabi, a leg of the Arabian Nations Cup League (CSIO5*) was programmed. The Irish team, with Shane Breen and Ipswich van de Wolfsakker (s. Carembar de Muze) among them, became second. In the GP2*, there was a third place for Frédéric David and Equador van ‘t Roosakker (s. Nabab de Rêve).

WEF

There was also a five star competition at the WEF, where Darragh Kenny and Important de Muze (s. Erco van ‘t Roosakker) confirmed their good form with a fourth place in a 1.55m-class and an eighth place over 1.50m. Evita van ‘t Zoggehof (s. Golden Hawk) also finished second in that last class with Lorenzo De Luca.

Royan

The two star competition in Royan was dominated by Olivier Robert, who rode Eros (s. Querlybet Hero) to a second and fourth spot in two of the main classes. The young horses also delivered, with Ermione du Val Jouen (s. Vigo d’Arsouilles) ridden by Charles Henri Ferme in the classes for five-year-olds and Heros de Wy (s. Quel Hero de Muze) ridden by Gregory Cottard in the classes for six-year-olds.

Kronenberg

The young progeny also stood in the spotlight at Equestrian Centre De Peelbergen. Laura Sutterlüty and Beau Z (s. Bamako de Muze) in the classes for five- and six-year-olds, Rik Hemeryck (Morfine de Muze, s. Nabab de Rêve) and Daan Van Geel (Hulde G, s. Vigo d’Arsouilles) in the classes for seven-year-olds.

Iberian get-together

Our weekly trip along the preparatory competition in the south of Europe, once more resulted in various great performances. In Oliva-Valencia (CSI1*), there was a fifth place for Deane Rogan on Libido van ‘t Hofken (s. Nabab de Rêve). In another similar class, the same result was achieved by Philippe Leoni and Collinus (s. Nabab de Rêve).

Romain Dreyfus rode Niara d’Elsendam Z (s. Nabab de Rêve) to a fourth place in a 1.45m-class in Valencia. At height 1.40m, we noted a fourth place for Iorio (s. Shindler de Muze) ridden by Aldrick Cheronnet.

Igor de Muze (s. Tinka’s Boy), half-brother of Fantomas de Muze and Lector vd Bisschop, became fifth in a 1.40m-class in Vejer de la Frontera with Marco Viviani. Gotham City PL (s. Filou de Muze) and Filippo Lupis won a class for seven-year-olds, just ahead of Memphis v/d Vaart (s. Elvis Ter Putte) and Max Routledge.

The public relations of Stal de Muze in Carmona were taken care off by Bamako de Muze. His son Big Boy vd Wolfsakker Z finished third in a 1.40m-class at the three star level with Gaj Riossa. A result that was equalled by Cassandra Malherbe and Fee van het Cauterhof (CSI1*).

Finally, in Vilamoura, Euphoria HST (s. Nabab de Rêve) made himself noticed with British rider Laura Johnson.

Various

Cendy VDP (s. Triomphe de Muze) and home rider Oda Charlotte Lyngvaer grabbed a fifth spot over 1.50m in Norwegian Lillestrøm.
