Close but no cigar for Gancia de Muze in Verona

WC Qualifier Verona

If she is on the starting list, Gancia de Muze (f. Malito de Rêve) has a good chance to win. In Verona, she could almost smell the victory, but Daniel Deusser proved to be just a little bit faster in the end. Therefore, an excellent second place was the verdict in the end, with of course Niels Bruynseels in the saddle. Also in Verona, Inca’s Boy van ‘t Vianahof (f. Diamant de Semilly), half-brother to our stallion Navajo van ‘t Vianahof (f. Vagabond de la Pomme), showed his incredible potential once more by finishing fifth in a 1.55m-class with Edwina Tops-Alexander.

Quite the new name at the highest level is Evita van ‘t Zoggehof (f. Golden Hawk, ex-Figo de Muze). With Lorenzo De Luca, the now eight-year-old mare already showed some great jumping skills in the classes for young horses and in Verona, she did the same among the big guns. They immediately won a 1.45m-class.

Carmona

In Spanish Carmona, Homer de Muze (f. Nabab de Rêve) attracted the attention by finishing second in the GP with Doron Kuipers. In the other classes, the spotlight was drawn to Patchouli de Muze Z (f. Ponsee V). Ridden by Valentine Petit-Jean, the mare placed herself three days in a row at 1.40m-level.

I’m Special, Bamako, Filou  & Taran

A nice ninth place was reserved for Tiffany Foster and Caipiranja in the GP of Kronenberg (1.45m). The same height, another placing, for Thibeau Spits with Bellissimo Z (f. Bamako de Muze) in St Lô. They became fifth. In the classes for five-year-old horses in Wiener Neustadt, there were clear rounds three days in a row for I’m Number One Z (f. I’m Special de Muze) with Austrian rider Laura Lehner and once for Coquimbo (f. Loro Piana Filou de Muze) with Radovan Cibere.

Nabab de Rêve

As usual, Nabab de Rêve showed to be a true supplier of international jumping horses everywhere in the world. In Kronenberg, Finnish rider Jenny Heinekamp jumped Kebap to a fifth place over 1.40m. Same place, different class but equally fine results for Axel Vandoorne and Miss Luna Duresses in the classes for young horses. Justine Tebbel and Jack Daniels became fifth in a 1.40m-class in Opglabbeek and in Polish Michalowice, Let’s Go DC and Yevgeniy Indyushkin finished second at the same height.

Querlybet Hero

The Querlybet Hero-progeny also performed excellently. Icarus and Pieter Clemens placed fourth in the GP of Opglabbeek and in South-African Kromdraai, there was a seventh place for Equistro in the WC1*, ridden by Barry Taylor.
