Le Coultre de Muze victorious in GP2* of St. Tropez

St. Tropez

Our only eight-year-old breeding product Le Coultre de Muze celebrated his first GP-victory, winning the GP2* of St. Tropez, ridden by Philippe Rozier. Le Coultre is sired by Presley Boy and is out of our great mare Genève de Muze (s. Vigo d’Arsouilles). It concerns the damline of Nelke van ‘t Waterschoot.

Niara d’Elsendam Z (s. Nabab de Rêve) repeated the performance of Le Coultre by winning the GP4*. Romain Dreyfus was in the saddle of Niara.

GCT/GCL Hamburg

In Hamburg, our former top stallion Cadeau de Muze (s. Nabab de Rêve) was successful with William Whitaker. They claimed the second place in the GCL being part of the Miami Celtics, together with Shane Breen (Ipswich van de Wolfsakker, s. Glock’s London). Michael Whitaker on his turn, jumped to the fifth place in the final for eight-year-olds in Hamburg, riding Freud del Cabanon (s. Filou de Muze).

St. Gallen

Already the third leg of the West-European Division I of the Nations Cup was on the menu in Swiss St. Gallen last weekend. Imagine de Muze (s. Nabab de Rêve) showed his skills over there with an excellent double clear for the British team, ridden by James Wilson. The team eventually ended in fourth place.

Devon, PA

The only nine-year-old Fasther (s. Vigo d’Arsouilles) finished tenth in the GP4* of Devon (1.60m), together with American rider Lillie Keenan. Also in Devon, we noted a fifth place for Schuyler Riley on Iceman de Muze (s. Erco van ‘t Roosakker) in a 1.50m-class.

Other

Giulia Levi won the GP2* of San Remo, riding Van Dutch Z (s. Vigo d’Arsouilles) and Eugenio Grimaldi rode Minerva G.I.H. Z (s. Malito de Rêve) to the fourth place in a 1.45m-class in Lisbon.

In various classes for young horses, we could also write down some fine performances. Alexander Kumps for example, jumped excellently with Nelson van ‘t Smisveld (s. Bamako de Muze) in the classes for six-year-olds in Opglabbeek, while Manda Rautenberg did the same riding Honolulu (s. Elvis Ter Putte) in the classes for five-year-olds in Polish Ciekocinko. Gabriela Biedka and Jambo (s. I’m Special de Muze) also jumped splendidly over there. Finally, in München-Riem, Alexander Butler and Gaston d’Ecaussinnes (s. Malito de Rêve) jumped to victory in a class for seven- and eight-year-olds.

BC Young Riders

Gilles Thomas became Belgian Champion in the youth categories for the third time in a row. This time he rode Konak (s. Nabab de Rêve) to the Belgian Young Riders title.

STX Cycle

Once more a double strike for the progeny of the “de Muze”-stallions in the STX Cycle. In the competition for seven-year-olds, Dylan De Rijcke jumped to victory with Malibu de Muze (s. Nabab de Rêve), son of Jeleena de Muze. Killian Norris rode I’m Monte Carlo Z (s. I’m Special de Muze) to eighth place.

In the competition for six-year-olds it was the turn of I’m Special de Muze once more. His son In Style N was piloted to victory by Walter Lelie. Steven Vermeir was placed eighth riding Nikita van de Koekelberg (s. Filou de Muze) and at number ten, there was Michiel Meskens on Novelle van de Plataan (s. Nabab de Rêve). Next Funky de Muze (s. Elvis Ter Putte) and Katrijn Van Hoecke also jumped a double clear in this class.

Eames de Hus and Walter Lelie took care of another highlight by finishing clear once again in the competition for five-year olds and one age category lower, there were clear rounds for Jessy Belle de Muze (s. Denzel van het Meulenhof, Frederik Wuytack) and Nice Call de Muze (s. Nabab de Rêve, Brent Van Damme).
