Mosito and El Torreo have taken first and third place respectively in the recently published Hippomundo rankings of up-and-coming sires. A top performance. In the performance jumping index from KU Leuven, which has also just been released, Mosito, El Torreo and Kasanova are also at the top of their age categories. This index is a scientific estimate of the genetic predisposition that horses inherit for show jumping performance. It is calculated by the Centre for Animal Breeding and Genetics (CABG) at KU Leuven and is based on both a horse’s own sporting performance and that of its parents and offspring.
