Albführen Iashin Sitte (s. Bamako de Muze) and Steve Guerdat once again demonstrated their class with a third-place finish in the GP5* at Falsterbo. Pieter Devos and Primo DV (s. Vigo d’Arsouilles) achieved a double clear round in the Nations Cup, making a substantial contribution to the Belgian team’s second-place finish. We also noted a third place over 1.50m for Kevin Staut on Hermes de Vesquerie (s. Vigo d’Arsouilles), as well as for Shane Sweetnam on Pia Maria H (s. Kasanova de la Pomme). Gaëtan Joliat rode Scarlina de Tiji Z (s. Scendro) to fifth place in a 1.45m class.
Valkenswaard
The GP4* in Valkenswaard saw Daniel Deusser and Pepita van ’t Meulenhof (s. El Torreo de Muze) take third place. Jessica Springsteen followed in fifth place riding Don Juan van de Donkhoeve (s. Bamako de Muze). Sanne Thijssen and Quel Vedet van de Grenshoeve (s. El Torreo de Muze) were the fastest over 1.45m.
The GP2* saw Victor Bettendorf take second place riding Qwando van de Rispen (s. Matisse de Mariposa). Lorenzo De Luca rode Noblesse vd Mespel Z (s. Nabab de Rêve) to fifth place in a ranking class. At the 1.40m level, Ciaran Nallon won on Little Special in Red M (s. I’m Special de Muze), whilst Ibrahim Hani Bisharat placed his El Nino Bull’s Eye Z (s. El Torreo de Muze) third.
Ocala
Another outstanding performance from Luis Sabino Gonçalves and Scoop de Septon Z (s. Scendro), who finished third in the GP4* at Ocala and also claimed victory in a 1.50m class. Diego Alejandro Bedoya Yañez took seventh place riding Quala vd Rollebeek (s. Bamako de Muze). In the U25 classes, Brooke Peterson took third place in the Grand Prix with Quality Touch L3B (s. Elvis Ter Putte).
Chantilly
In Chantilly, Sophie Scott secured third place at 1.50m level on Normandy GHP (s. Nabab de Rêve). Roger Yves Bost jumped to fifth place at the same height with Go To Hickstead MF (s. Vigo d’Arsouilles). Koen and Oilily de Muze (s. Vigo d’Arsouilles) added another international victory to their list of achievements in a 1.40m class.
La Coruña
Four-star show jumping also took place in La Coruña. Tal Milstein and Ionesco Sitte secured fourth place in a 1.40m class. In the CSI1* classes, Miguel Alvarez-Buylla Rodriguez finished second riding Roxanne V (s. Fantomas de Muze).
Samorin
David Will rode DSP King George (s. Kasanova de la Pomme) to victory in a 1.50m class in Samorin. Francis Derwin took third place in a 1.45m class with Marble Arch (ex-Sister Bliss de Tamise, s. Gino H).
Opglabbeek
The GP2* at Opglabbeek was won by Lucio Viniciu De Oliveira Osório on Queena (s. Bamako de Muze), just ahead of Graham Babes on Monks I Am Casall (s. I’m Special de Muze). These two pairs also took fourth and third place respectively in a ranking class. Gert Jan Bruggink and Vigalio SHO Z (s. Vigo d’Arsouilles) finished sixth in the Grand Prix. Michael Vreys and Reckless van het Lindehof (s. Vigo d’Arsouilles) came second over 1.40m.
Mill Spring
David Blake and Gucci des Embruns (s. Malito de Rêve) were the ones to watch in Mill Spring. They won a 1.45m class and finished fourth in the GP2*.
Gesves
Seventh place was the result for Gauthier Mercenier and Kavinsky Giguellerie (s. Le Coultre de Muze) in the GP2* of Gesves. They finished just ahead of Bart Clarys and Cavalor Quest vd Withoeve (s. Elvis Ter Putte). Pascale Van Laethem won a 1.40m class riding Kaliopée du Saint-Chêne (s. Vigo d’Arsouilles).
Wiener Neustadt
We round off this week at the CSI2* in Wiener Neustadt, where Jan Chrzanowski (Esprit d’Intro Z, s. Elvis Ter Putte), Sándor Szász (Virginia R., s. Vigo d’Arsouilles) and Anna Duff (TMS Pienaar, s. I’m Special de Muze) made their mark in various 1.40m classes.
