Fourth place for El Torreo in GP3* of Lier

Azelhof

Amazing performance by our stallion El Torreo de Muze in the GP3* of Lier. With his Brazilian rider Bernardo Alves, he was one of only five horses that managed to reach the jump-off. The duo eventually finished in fourth place. El Torreo was also clear in the other two classes he jumped. It resulted in a ninth and twelfth place. James Wilson and Imagine de Muze (s. Nabab de Rêve) added a fifth place to that (1.40m).

Furthermore, we noted a list of great young horses performances in Lier. Jos Verlooy did well riding I’m Special Gold B (s. I’m Special de Muze) in the classes for six-year-olds, as did Brieanne Dofort on Nanou van het Dennehof (s. Elvis Ter Putte) and Thiago Ribas da Costa on Never Before d’Arsouilles (s. Elvis Ter Putte). James Billington and Jillz (s. Denzel van ‘t Meulenhof) impressed in the five-year-old classes, which was also the case for Astrid Rooms on Ocean van ‘t Paradijs (s. Bamako de Muze). In the classes for seven-year-olds, it were Daan van Geel and Hulde G (s. Vigo d’Arsouilles) that made themselves noticed.

Spruce Meadows

Evelina Tovek and Dalila de la Pomme were part of the Swedish team that finished fourth in the Nations Cup of Calgary. They also jumped well in the GP, eventually finishing in an excellent seventh place.

Rome & Saugerties

In the Global Champions Tour leg of Rome, there was a fourth place for Darragh Kenny and Important de Muze (s. Erco van ‘t Roosakker). They achieved that result in a 1.55m-class. Important’s half-brother Iceman de Muze (s. Erco van ‘t Roosakker) in turn, finished third in a 1.50m-class in American Saugerties, ridden by Schuyler Riley.

Esposende

Finally, in Portuguese Esposende, the best results were gained by Hugo Carvalho on Extraordiner (s. Nabab de Rêve). The duo won a 1.40m-class and finished fourth in another class at the same height.
