Lector again makes a name for himself

In our list of stallions that have already made their mark in international show jumping this year, it was again Lector vd Bisschop’s turn last week, after the recent successes of Kasanova de la Pomme, Mosito van het Hellehof and El Torreo de Muze. In three 1.50m-1.55m classes at the CSI5* in Windsor, Lector finished third, fourth and fifth and did not make a single mistake. That bodes well for the rest of the season.

In the Windsor GP, Levis de Muze (s. Elvis Ter Putte) rushed to ninth place under Ioli Mytilineou. Viper Z (s. Vigo d'Arsouilles) grabbed victory in a 1.50m class with Martin Fuchs in the saddle.

San Juan Capistrano

The win in the San Juan Capistrano GP5* went to McLain Ward riding Kasper van het Hellehof (s. Emerald), the half-brother of our Mosito van het Hellehof. Furthermore, Matt Archer scored a third place in a 1.50m class on Luigi vd Bisschop (s. Bamako de Muze).

Bonheiden

With a second place in the GP, Pascale Haep and Iashin Sitte (s. Bamako de Muze) can look back on a successful weekend at the CSI3* in Bonheiden. David Simpson and Pjotr van de Kruishoeve (s. Bamako de Muze) finished fifth in a 1.45m class. In the 1.40m classes we noted placings for Quality Time of Picobello Z (s. Querlybet Hero, James Wilson) and Piccadily (s. Vigo d'Arsouilles, Jack Ansems).

Madrid

Jérôme Guery and Juristo van het Hagenhof (s. Elvis Ter Putte) impressed at the GCT/GCL leg of Madrid with third and fifth place in two 1.45m classes. In the one-star classes, Jane Richard (Neptune de Muze, s. Cadeau de Muze) and Leticia Riva Gil (Victoria d'Argent, s. Nabab de Rêve) each jumped to third place in a 1.40m class.

Balmoral

In the GP2* in Balmoral, Ireland, William Walker rushed to place five riding I'm Special The One AK (s. I'm Special de Muze). Kevin Gallagher and BP Limitless signed for fourth place in a 1.45m class.

Samorin

Alice Janout and Esprit d'Intro Z (s. Elvis Ter Putte) were eighth in the Samorin GP2*. In the junior classes, Natalia Sydow provided a good result by finishing eighth in the Junior GP on Impala 47 (s. I'm Special de Muze).

Other

I-Cap CL Z (s. I'm Special de Muze) and Jessica Mendoza finished nicely second in the Lexington GP3*. Tiffany Foster and Battlecry (ex-Olympus van de Molenberg, s. Vigo d'Arsouilles) were in fifth place. In Lummen's GP2*, Jack Ryan was good for ninth place on Eagle vd Wolfsakker Z (s. Elvis Ter Putte). Finally, Emiliano Liberati and Aruba Island (s. Vigo d'Arsouilles) grabbed fourth prize money in a 1.45m class in Montefalco.
