From the very start of his jumping career, Le Blue Diamond van 't Ruytershof was already successful. Meanwhile, he has definitely broken through at the highest level under Olivier Philippaerts. They were, among other things, part of the Belgian team that won bronze at the European Championships in Riesenbeck in 2021.

The stallion is also making a name for himself in breeding. Several sons have already been approved for breeding. These include Sky Blue-K van 't Kattenheye, who was one of the eye-catchers at the 2021 Z-stallion inspection. His first offspring are also starting to make themselves heard under the saddle. Panter JVH and Polonis L from his first crop (born 2015) are already jumping at 1.45m level.

It seems no coincidence that Le Blue Diamond disposes of many qualities. His sire Plot Blue was successful at the highest level for many years and is a sire in the making. His dam is also a phenomenon, namely Diamanthina van 't Ruytershof. She is Emerald's full sister and was herself active at five-star level. This line goes back to the mare Carthina Z. It is the dam line of Ilusionata van 't Meulenhof, Jilbert van 't Ruytershof and many other top horses, among others. It looks like Le Blue Diamond is yet another successful descendant of this line.
